Musical Journey
Welcome to my musical world!
I have been on a creative journey since a teenager. However, it was when I discovered the purpose behind those funny looking 5 pin connectors on the back of my Atari 520ST, and tentatively connected them to my Yamaha keyboard, that MIDI recording became a passion. I was exploring meandering melodies on top of unfocused chord arrangements for fun and an audience of one.
Sometime around the age of sixty, I began to write songs with actual verses and choruses and bridges with the idea that someone might actually relate to the message. There is no overarching style here, just a blend of folk, rock, pop, and jazz influences. Those songs resulted in two self-produced CDs titled 'Selfie' and 'New Tricks for an Old Dog.'
I also plan to present here material that was recorded since those CDs, some of which has not been mastered, which may, or may not appear on subsequent albums, since the whole concept of an album has unfortunately become archaic.
I only hope that my music touches someone in a positive way.
