was recorded at Selfie Studio, Pataskala Ohio; otherwise known as my basement. I played a variety of guitars and a vintage Korg Karma synthesizer into Cakewalk Sonar Platinum recording software.
"The Keeper of the Keys" is played with an unusual Am11 tuning. It was inspired by a pre-release review of the book "Desert Rising" by Kelly Grant.
The pretty woman on the CD cover is my daughter-in-law who graciously agreed to take a selfie for the SelfieCD, and my friend Brian Korodi skillfully photo shopped us on to a subway train (as the words to title song suggest). Except I am Oriole Fan - It was hard to put on a Pirate hat...
The vines in "Washed Away"are supposed to be kudzu vines. I don't know why I called them kudro vines, but I left it as is, anyway.
"Vegas to Santa Fe" is played with an open D. The verses were recorded on TEAC 4 track in 1984. I added the chorus vocals and synthesized guitar adornments for this album.
